Former Google employees are creating a social search engine

A group of former Google employees headed by Nathan Stall who used to be the head of the project Google News are elabrating a new social search service.

Mechanical Zoo company that includes 12 former employees of Google is developing a special search application with the help of which users will search for answers to subjective questions resorting to the knowledge of certain circle of their acquaintances.

A 100 users are currently testing the new technology.

Japanese Internet-bank penetrated USA

Japanese Internet bank eBank Corp entered the US market. The federal reserve gave permission to the Japanese firm to open a representation office in San Francisco.

Before that eBank Corp that renders services exclusively via Internet had the only office outside Japan - in Hong Kong. According to the Federal Reserve the Japanese bank won't attract deposits on the territory of the USA.

The eBank Corp assets are 6.1 billion dollars.

Google launched a special universal search in Russian

This innovation obviously remained unnoticed by most of the search engine Google users, but last week Google launched a universal search of addreses and companies. Other popular Russian-language search engines don't have such feature yet.
